How Secure is your Virtual Environment?
Virtualisation brings many advantages to companies relating to both cost of ownership and ease of management. However, virtualised servers face the same vulnerabilities as physical servers. But they open up additional new risks too. Whilst existing protection measures are still valid, they cant secure virtual machines (VMs). For example, VMs can be difficult to patch regularly. They can become infected whilst dormant or offline and threaten other VMs. They can also be easily created or cloned in minutes, making security management a nightmare. Enables IT has formed a partnership with Trend Micro to provide industry leading network security. Through our alliance we can provide advice, solutions and support to prevent data breaches and business disruptions, distribute security updates to servers, shield vulnerable machines with Virtual Patching, achieve multiple protection with a lighter footprint, including Intrusion Detection and Prevention, anti-malware, firewall, integrity monitoring and log inspection. We can also help your business to address six major areas of PCI and a wide range of other compliance requirements.
